I’m a little late posting this but 20 of our posters are on display at Invisible Cinema in Ottawa (319 Lisgar Street) for the month of February. There are a couple of copies of each poster for sale so swing by if you live in the Ottawa area and want to save on shipping. Invisible Cinema is a great independent movie store so support them and rent some movies while you’re at it!
The nice guys at Agency Dominion hired us before Christmas to create a commemorative poster for their company and also for one of their clients WebCanada. It was a fun project and we we’re happy with the outcomes for both. We ended up doing small silk-screened runs of each three colour design. The grays in both designs were actually printed with silver metallic inks.

Well, I should say the song i’ve been playing all week since it’s been out for awhile. Molten Light by Chad Vangaalen. Saw this the other day on Chrissie’s blog. Really cool/eerie video illustrated by Chad himself! Can’t get it out of my head. Buy his records here if you’re in Canada and here if you’re anywhere else.
Took in 007′s latest offering (go see it!) and was impressed by Tomato’s typography for the location cards. Visit their site for a couple of other stills. The Port au Prince type in the actual film was different from the one they have. It was a cool Barnum looking type face. If anyone has a screenshot let me know!
In the spirit of Christmas we’ve lowered the prices on a lot of the older posters and shirts in our shop until January. Please make sure to place your order as soon as possible if you want to receive it by Christmas as shipping always slows down at this time of year.
