We have been working on a new website that will hopefully be up around the end of March. Expect a facelift for our portfolio, blog, and shop along with updated work. It’s long overdue so we’re happy it’s finally happening.

A new poster we did for the upcoming Pavement, Broken Social Scene, and Band of Horses show on Toronto Island. The show isn’t until June but advertising began this week. Looking forward to this one!

Our friends at Agency Dominion asked us to create another art print for them this year.

A big thanks to everyone who stopped by our table at the Winter Fling craft fair in Toronto this past weekend. We made some holiday cards this year and sold them in sets of 4 at the event. We have 10 sets left over. Visit this link if you would like to purchase one.

We’re having our annual holiday sale. Starting today throughout December everything in the store is $5.00 off. Our last day of shipping in 2009 is December 21st. We will begin shipping again on January 4th. Happy Festivus!

STEP 1: Scan in whatever it is you’re working on

STEP 2: Select the ruler tool from the toolbar. It shares a menu with the eyedropper.

STEP 3: Click and drag the ruler along the path you want to be level.

STEP 4: From the image pulldown menu select ‘Rotate Canvas’ and select ‘Arbitrary’.

STEP 5: Click ok.

STEP 6: Crop your now level image and keep working.

Finally got a twitter account. Held off for a long time because I felt it was more content watering down for sake of convenience. It seems like the internet came about and everyone was so excited to have their own website to showcase their work, product etc. Then came blogs which were easier to update than websites most times so people stopped paying attention to their sites to update their blogs because it’s easier. Then twitter came along making it much easier to update and inform others on what you’re doing but with even less content than any of the previous ‘mediums’. Hopefully this doesn’t mark the death of our blog. Although, Matt has been updating it more than me anyways so I think we’re safe.

Doublenaut will be holding down a booth at the upcoming Winter Fling… A Craft Thing. The arts & crafts show is taking place on December 5th at St. Stephen-in-the-Fields (103 Bellevue Avenue) in Toronto. Come check out all the local talent and do some Christmas shopping. We will have all of our posters and shirts available. Possibly some new holiday items as well.
