We have a print appearing in Gallery 1988‘s new art show Multiplayer. The show is happening at their new Venice location and features limited edition posters inspired by video games. The grand opening takes place Saturday, January 15th 7-10pm and will be on display until February 4th. OMG Posters has put together an awesome line up of artists and designers so go check it out if you’re in the LA area. We will post our submission next week.

We’re taking part in another craft show this December. We’ll be selling our posters, shirts and other ephemera at A Handmade Holiday organized by Kid Icarus. All the info is in the flyer below please come by and say hello!

We have a print in a show currently being put on by Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. The show runs from March 4 – 26. If you’re in the area you should stop by and check it out because there is a ton of great work by all the best poster artists working right now. If you’re not in the area you can view all the posters here. We’ll have our print available in our store after the show has wrapped up.

So we’re doing the NXNE poster show again this year. You can find us at the Hyatt Regency Toronto on King St. June 18 – 20. We’ll be there 12pm -7pm Thursday and Friday and 12pm – 5pm on Saturday. It’s free so come on by and help keep us off the streets. We’ll have a new NXNE poster (pictured above) for sale as well as a new poster for the Arts & Crafts 2009 NXNE showcase (pictured below). We’ll also have everything in our shop on hand. Good opportunity to save on shipping so come by!

The opening show for that is this friday so if you’re in Buffalo or nearby go check it out. We’ll be there early to get our Jim’s Steakout on before the show, pretty excited.

We will be at Canzine 2008 this Sunday the 26th hawking our posters and shirts and whatever else we have lying around. If you’re not doing anything you should swing by and say hey. It runs from 1pm -7pm at the Gladstone Hotel and Queen St. West and Gladstone (Dufferin St.) For all the details check out the Canzine page.

This little dude is our entry into Hero Design Studio’s custom 9″ B.U.D toy show. Info below is from their site. Keep an eye out on their site for more info. He will be for sale at the show if you feel like he’d make a good addition to your home. There are a ton of amazing artists involved in this show so you should check it out if you are anywhere remotely near Buffalo.
WHAT: This B.U.D.’s for You. Hero is hosting a custom toy show featuring one-of-a-kind customs from over 30 artists from all over the world. The figure that is being customized is the 9″ Blow Up Doll from Jamungo and each custom toy will be available for purchase. They will be available online after the first week of being on display, so if you are hoping to get a custom from a certain artist, you will want to be at the opening.
WHEN + WHERE: October 24 – December 23, 2008. The opening reception is Friday, October 24 at El Museo 95 Allen Street, Buffalo NY 14202 (directly next door to Hero). The show will only be on display at El Museo for the night of the reception (Hero will still be open next door) and the show will move over and remain on display at Hero from October 25 – December 23.

We will be giving a talk to the Toronto Type Club on March 26th. If you’re interested in checking it out please visit their site for more info. Everyone is welcome. We’ll be talking about some of the work we’ve done since we’ve started and maybe get into a bit about our process. I’m sure there will be a Q&A aswell. Probably a key time to ask all the burning questions you’ve always wanted to ask about Doublenaut. Should be a hoot!

The fine people at Toronto’s most infamous bar/venue, The Bovine Sex Club, have asked us to hang some of our posters up in their back room art gallery. Truthfully they’ve been up for awhile and we’re just getting around to having a little to-do for it. It’s next wednesday, July 4th and you can show up at 10 or anytime there after. We’ll be getting crunk to the sweet sounds of DJ Tanner. I know it’s kind of last minute but bring your buddies and come and hang with your buddies at Doublenaut.
