So we’re doing the NXNE poster show again this year. You can find us at the Hyatt Regency Toronto on King St. June 18 – 20. We’ll be there 12pm -7pm Thursday and Friday and 12pm – 5pm on Saturday. It’s free so come on by and help keep us off the streets. We’ll have a new NXNE poster (pictured above) for sale as well as a new poster for the Arts & Crafts 2009 NXNE showcase (pictured below). We’ll also have everything in our shop on hand. Good opportunity to save on shipping so come by!

We screen printed our first poster last night for Mogwai’s upcoming Toronto show. Our friend Jeremy Wilson gave us a very helping hand and taught us the printing process at his studio Pop Fuel. We’re really happy with how it turned out and hope to print more of our designs in the future.

We were asked by our our good friend Joey Clarke to contribute a skatedeck for A Disposable Art Show – A Charity Skateboarding Exhibition Curated by Freedom Fighters Skateboards. The show was on Saturday and it was a great success. We had a really fun time and were honored to have our work displayed alongside so many talented artists from all over the world. As an added bonus our deck sold!
Our deck was a combination of collage and paint. We pasted down a collage made from old war time ads from the 1940′s then painted the design on top with acrylics.
