So here’s our new site that we’ve been flapping our gums about for the last month. Added a bunch of new work but at the same time got rid a lot of stuff in the portfolio that we feel didn’t represent the kind of studio we’re working towards being. A big thanks to our friend Greg for all his help and patience putting this together for us. I’m sure we’ll be tweaking the site a little bit here and there over the next week but this is more or less it. Thanks for checking it out!

We have a print in a show currently being put on by Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. The show runs from March 4 – 26. If you’re in the area you should stop by and check it out because there is a ton of great work by all the best poster artists working right now. If you’re not in the area you can view all the posters here. We’ll have our print available in our store after the show has wrapped up.

Finally got a twitter account. Held off for a long time because I felt it was more content watering down for sake of convenience. It seems like the internet came about and everyone was so excited to have their own website to showcase their work, product etc. Then came blogs which were easier to update than websites most times so people stopped paying attention to their sites to update their blogs because it’s easier. Then twitter came along making it much easier to update and inform others on what you’re doing but with even less content than any of the previous ‘mediums’. Hopefully this doesn’t mark the death of our blog. Although, Matt has been updating it more than me anyways so I think we’re safe.
Signed up more just to make sure no one else took the name but after poking around this afternoon it seems pretty neat. Feel free to follow us here -> http://www.twitter.com/doublenaut

I’m a little late posting this but 20 of our posters are on display at Invisible Cinema in Ottawa (319 Lisgar Street) for the month of February. There are a couple of copies of each poster for sale so swing by if you live in the Ottawa area and want to save on shipping. Invisible Cinema is a great independent movie store so support them and rent some movies while you’re at it!

In the spirit of Christmas we’ve lowered the prices on a lot of the older posters and shirts in our shop until January. Please make sure to place your order as soon as possible if you want to receive it by Christmas as shipping always slows down at this time of year.
Our new Coliseum poster is also available now. We only have a small quantity of these so order soon before they’re gone.

We’re honoured that our first Coliseum poster was made ‘Poster Of The Week’ over at Gigposters.com. We have always been big fans of the site and everything Clay and co. has done for the gig poster community over the past several years.
A little background on Gigposters.com: “GigPosters.com was created and is maintained by Clay Hayes who resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The website launched in January, 2001. Showcasing the worlds largest historical gig poster archive, this massive online art gallery is home to thousands of designers from around the world. Visitors can browse and comment on gig posters, join the large community in the forums, chat, and purchase posters in the classified ads section.”
