Here’s a new poster we did for our friends in Fucked Up. The poster is part of the Polaris Music Prize 2009 Poster Series. Visit the Polaris website to learn more about the prize, nominees, and posters.
We will have a very limited amount of these available through our shop starting next Tuesday. They are printed with metallic gold ink.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi or buy a poster at Flatstock 22 last weekend. We always have a great time at Bumbershoot in Seattle and this year was no different.
We reprinted a small run our Double Owls shirt for the convention. They are now available in the shop.

That title is a bit of a mouthful but we were happy all the same to have 10 pieces included in this great book from Gestalten. We were honored to be included alongside many of our talented peers. If you would like to pick up a copy it’s available from Amazon.

The fine folks at Fred Perry Canada asked us to create a poster for the Bedouin Soundclash after party they hosted last week. The party was to celebrate the opening of their pop-up shop in Toronto’s distillery district. The shop will be open all summer long. Check it out if you’re in the neighbourhood. 55 Mill St. Building 36.

Many thanks to Chris and the staff at Verso Magazine for featuring us in their latest issue. Verso can be purchased in Toronto at the York University and Sheridan College bookstores, Swipe Books, and Function13.
Verso is a non-profit magazine initiated and run by students of the York University/Sheridan Institute Joint Honours Bachelor of Design Program. The team is comprised entirely of volunteers from all years of the program, with many students returning for consecutive years.

We were asked by our our good friend Joey Clarke to contribute a skatedeck for A Disposable Art Show – A Charity Skateboarding Exhibition Curated by Freedom Fighters Skateboards. The show was on Saturday and it was a great success. We had a really fun time and were honored to have our work displayed alongside so many talented artists from all over the world. As an added bonus our deck sold!
Our deck was a combination of collage and paint. We pasted down a collage made from old war time ads from the 1940′s then painted the design on top with acrylics.

We ventured down to Austin, Texas last week to be part of Flatstock 20 at SXSW 2009. It was our first time at the Austin Flatstock and we had great time selling posters, seeing old and new friends, checking out shows, and eating a lot of BBQ. Hopefully we’ll be back next year.
Before leaving we had two new shirt designs made. They will be up in our shop this week along with our new Young Widows print.
