No Salvation

A new poster we did for Coliseum‘s upcoming Toronto show. We were happy to hear that Coliseum frontman Ryan Patterson is a big fan of the first poster we did for them and has it framed and hanging in his livingroom.

Such great, “witty” posters you guys do!
And this one is no different!

Funny enough, my roomate and I liked the first COLISEUM poster you guys did so much, I bought it for him for his birthday. It now hangs in our living room.

One more thing…have you ever thought that your first COLISEUM poster would’ve made a better DISFEAR/TRAP THEM poster because the arms are trapping the scared face? The first time I saw it, I thought they were the opposite of each other!

Thanks Eric, we’re always stoked when our posters get the prime ‘living room wall’ real estate. I see what you mean about the Trap Them poster.. I think we designed the original Coliseum poster with the song ‘The Fate of Men’ in mind so we felt it was appropriate for them. It would have worked well for either show though.

This is cool, i’ve just seen your stuff on gigposters and had to commend you on your fine style. Those hands from the Coliseum poster remind me of Hitchcocks Vertigo and The Man With The Golden Arm film posters Saul Bass made in the 50′s.
