This weekend we went to the Trinity Bellwood’s Garage Sale which is a huge garage sale held in Trinity Bellwood’s park here in Toronto. I had some luck finding cool sourcebooks there in the past but struck out this year only picking up a couple of The American Legion mags. Our two magazines hardly sated our thirst for spending money on books so we rode over to check out Monkey’s Paw a used book store we’d been meaning to visit for the last 6 months. Picked up a couple of gems. Signs + Emblems by Erhardt D. Stiebner and Dieter Urban which is easily the best trademark & logotype reference book i’ve ever seen. We also picked An Atlas of Typeforms which had a ton of cool reprints in it. If you live in Toronto or are visiting please support this store, they have a ton of great stuff. You could spend a day just drooling over all their books.
