That title is a bit of a mouthful but we were happy all the same to have 10 pieces included in this great book from Gestalten. We were honored to be included alongside many of our talented peers. If you would like to pick up a copy it’s available from Amazon.
We did two posters back in April for Flight of the Conchords two Toronto shows. Unfortunately, both posters were printed with incorrect info and a typo. Everyone makes mistakes, right? FOTC management requested that we fix both posters to the best of our ability rather than reprint them. We did so and they still look pretty decent. Regardless, we would not feel comfortable selling them for full price so they are available in our shop for $15 each.
The below images will give you an idea of where the errors were and how we fixed them. The type on the second poster was printed with metallic silver ink.
We have also decided to offer a package deal for our FOTC posters. You can get all 3 for $40 in our shop!
The fine folks at Fred Perry Canada asked us to create a poster for the Bedouin Soundclash after party they hosted last week. The party was to celebrate the opening of their pop-up shop in Toronto’s distillery district. The shop will be open all summer long. Check it out if you’re in the neighbourhood. 55 Mill St. Building 36.
Our new posters for NXNE and the Arts & Crafts NXNE Showcase are now available through our shop. The grey colour on the NXNE poster is a shiny metallic silver.
We did these shirts in February and I had forgotten about them until I came across the files just now. Thought I’d share since I feel like they came out pretty good. For British metaler’s Architects, commissioned by our buddy Greg at Distort.
So we’re doing the NXNE poster show again this year. You can find us at the Hyatt Regency Toronto on King St. June 18 - 20. We’ll be there 12pm -7pm Thursday and Friday and 12pm - 5pm on Saturday. It’s free so come on by and help keep us off the streets. We’ll have a new NXNE poster (pictured above) for sale as well as a new poster for the Arts & Crafts 2009 NXNE showcase (pictured below). We’ll also have everything in our shop on hand. Good opportunity to save on shipping so come by!
So May was a busy one. Spent almost the entirety of it working Billy Talent III. Don’t want to give too much away so i’ll just post the cover for now. You can pre-order the deluxe version from here. It includes an extra cd with 4 demo tracks from the record as well as all the songs without the guitar tracks plus two posters with the tabs for the whole record for all those BT guitar playing fans out there. The record drops as early as July 14th. We’ll post some more pics down the line.

Many thanks to Chris and the staff at Verso Magazine for featuring us in their latest issue. Verso can be purchased in Toronto at the York University and Sheridan College bookstores, Swipe Books, and Function13.
Verso is a non-profit magazine initiated and run by students of the York University/Sheridan Institute Joint Honours Bachelor of Design Program. The team is comprised entirely of volunteers from all years of the program, with many students returning for consecutive years.
